June 2016 Fun and Games

June brought pool parties at Randy and Sari's, or Zsa Zsa and Papa's as we say for ease in referencing Tessa's grandparents.  We are so happy they invite us over so often and we really enjoy swimming in their pool.

June also brought Chloe's first ever week at 4-H camp!
Royce remembers going to Rock Springs as a kid and Chloe was finally old enough to attend this summer.  She earned a $50 scholarship towards her fee and was more excited for camp than about anything else I can remember.  There was no fear or separation anxiety for this gal, she was ready!

The second day of her camp I received a text from my cousin Stephanie.  She said that Brooklyn had text her the night before because Brooklyn was a counselor at the camp!   How fun is that?!?  Brooklyn was a counselor and Kennedy was a fellow camper.  The Hays 4-H director took hundreds, yes HUNDREDS of pictures each day.  It was overwhelming!  I looked and looked and looked through pictures each day and Chloe was only in ONE, hahahaha!  I saved these two pictures as memories for her.  Although I'm not sure she will forget anytime soon.

When Chloe got home she had a big smile for the whole day.  She went on and on, talking about her cabin and the girls in Sycamore B.  It was fun hearing her tell stories and talk about their decisions, challenges, and attempts at sugar rushes.  We are so very proud of the person she is becoming.  She is so independent, confidant and happy.  It's awesome to see her so excited about her first camp experience.  Until next year!
