Halloween 2013

We had several opportunities to dress up for Halloween this year.  The library held two different parties and the older kids also got to dress up at school.  It was a fun holiday for our family.  Amelia & Caroline had fun wearing funny chicken costumes...they got into the festivities.  And Chloe & Isaac were at the right age for trick-or-treating without Royce and I feeling like we were dragging them around.  Chloe really liked running between houses, wanting to fit in as many locations as she could.  We had great weather, FANTASTIC kiddos, and ended the night with friends at the Hernandez house.  They had a house full and it was so enjoyable.

Chloe comes home with fun pictures almost every day that she draws at school in spare time.  I loved this one during Halloween season.  All of the details in the picture crack me up...the wand in her pocket, the wart on her nose, the stripes on her legs, and the slant of the broom she's flying on.  Just makes me heart smile.

Playing games at the library

We ran into Paisley from Julie's daycare!

Even chickens gotta go potty!
Oh, Caroline.

Chloe's school party

I was in charge of a game for the kids so we did a marshmallow launch.
It was a lot of fun and the kids thought it was pretty neat to get to play with the marshmallows instead of just eating them.  It was fun letting them get out of hand a little.

Jango Fett Isaac had fun with his class too!
They ended up with some serious loot!

Chloe got to decorate 'puggins' with Stella this year.
I don't know, I think Stella is edging Aunt Robbie out of the picture for BFF.
