Britny and Ethan asked Amelia and Caroline to be flower girls for their wedding. Britny bonded with the girls quite a bit when Britny lived with us for a couple weeks between living in the dorms and her first house. The twins were only a year old but they grasped on to Britny and didn't let go. It was a nice treat to have them be in her wedding, although they did openly accuse Ethan of stealing their babysitter. I think we all know where Ethan stands now.
Jack was the active ring-bearer and Mason (her Godson) was the honorary ring-bearer as he wasn't old enough to be in the actual ceremony. He cheesed it up for Britny before the ceremony though!
Rehearsal was a success and the girls and Jack hit it off right away.
Now...there are a lot of pictures but I'm just going to post them all and let them speak for themselves! We are so happy for Britny and Ethan! And it was one heck-of-a party!
These three girls danced allllll night long!
Royce and Caroline. We were SO incredibly proud of these girls for how well they did all day!
And Amelia had her daddy exactly where she wanted him. These two!
I'm pretty sure there is proof of Ron dancing with everyone that night except for Gram, haha!
We have a twisted sense of humor in this Pfannenstiel family and this picture was after the women presented Britny with a special gift!
And that was it! They danced til they could dance no more.
We got countless compliments on how well the girls behaved and how pretty their dresses were.
It was a long 10 months of anticipation before the wedding but these two didn't disappoint.
And I'm not blogging all of those compliments to brag...I'm reminding myself that inside of the little balls of energy that ask a million questions a day, come and repeatedly tap me on the shoulder in the middle of the night, and are so stubborn I don't know what to do some days......that somewhere, deep inside, are these beautiful girls who really came through when they needed to.
And I had no doubt in my mind that they could do it.
These are very beautiful pictures from the wedding which seemed to be such a lovely event. The kids look so adorable in the photos and it’s nice that they got to be actively involved in the ceremony. My son is also excited to be attending my sister’s wedding next week at one of the amazing Chicago wedding venues.
