Ellis County Fair

This was our first year entering exhibits in the fair.  We joined the Bits 'N Spurs 4-H Club and have really enjoyed the last year.  This fall Royce is taking over some fundraising efforts and we are looking forward to another successful year!

Isaac is still considered a Cloverbud and he entered a Legos exhibit.  He was very proud of doing it all himself!  They earn participation ribbons for their exhibits.

Chloe entered the following in the fair:
Visual arts: Painted Ceramic Boot
Visual arts: Watercolor Cheetah Print
Visual arts: Nature craft Sand Snowman
Posters & Signs: Horseless Horse "My favorite ways to enjoy horses without owning a horse."
Gardening: Tomatoes

And....

Chloe's poster was CHAMPION!

We are so proud of her for working so hard on this poster.  It described four ways she enjoys horses.
Top Yellow:  Friends & Family.  Pictures riding Goble in the local horse shows.
Red:  Imagination.  Pretending she is a cowgirl with sketches of all the things she imagines!
Blue:  Camps.  Colby Community College Equestrian Team's camp she attended in May.
Bottom Yellow:  Books and Movies.  Covers of her favorite books and movies.

She got a lot of compliments on her poster and everyone said it deserved champion.
Proud proud proud!
